Fabulous Friday Favorites....

Alright I admit it! My name is Danielle & I am a shopaholic. I have been shop free for the past 2 hours. : ) But not the kind of shopaholic we see in the movie - buying designer things all the time (who doesn't love those) but more so, the kind that loves handmade things, made by moms like me! So on Fridays I've decided to tell all of you, my loyal entourage, the wonderful items I've found & purchased for myself or as gifts!

I have personally bought from this shop twice & have loved the beautiful gifts for my new nephew & niece.  The quality of her products are impeccable & the pictures don't do her items justice!

Cheesecake Cups with Blueberries & Raspberries

Late Night Recipe Rant

I cannnot sleep tonight. I don't know if its being excited about becoming an aunt again any minute or the fact that I had my first sale on etsy tonight. (Thanks Tracy) So I've decided to post a late night recipe rant. It probably won't be the last time, so I hope everyone likes this one. : )
My "new" staple at any party, baby shower, birthday get to together & now family holiday is a little something I like to call Cheesecake Cups. It's so yummy that everyone will rave about them & compliment your cooking regardless of whether they like you or not. Let's face it - some of us just don't have time to be Martha Stewart or Rachel Ray. So here goes & I promise you'll never believe how scrumptous they are until you try them!!

Cheesecake Cups

1 - Philadelphia Cheesecake in a tub (found near the cream cheese) I like the regular but the Key Lime is pretty good too!

1 - Box of Athens Mini Phyllo Dough Shells

1 - topping of your choice - I love blueberries so that's what I've used but you can use grated chocolate etc.

All you do is put the mini phyllo dough shells in the oven to crisp for maybe 10 minutes (it says on the box). Let them cool and spoon fill or pipe cheesecake into them & top with whatever you want. It sounds to good to be true but I swear by them! My family (30 people) will be here for thanksgiving & they will love them! I will try to post pictures of them from my Sister-in-laws baby shower...

Giveaway Ideas

So I'm thinking about trying a giveaway on my blog that hopefully others will post links to on their blogs and gain some traffic and some feedback for Little Curlz Couture Shop. I want to know what I should giveaway. The hard part is that I have all these wonderful sorority sisters and friends that only have little boys - so its not as exciting for them. Finally Blogging

This is all so new to me, but I'm giving it a shot.. Starting the online shop Little Curlz Couture has been interesting to say the least. I do have to say I find it very exciting and the support from other etsyians has been amazing!
I have shopped on Etsy for awhile and always appreciated the quality and pricing of the products I purchased but most of all I love the customer service experience. It is by far the best I've ever experienced!
Therefore, I plan to use this blog to promote Little Curlz Couture products as well as some of my favorites from other shops because if your anything like me - the need for retail therapy just calls your name (even in this economy) and knowing I'm supporting others just like me is fantastic!!!
I look forward to a long and happy relationship here in blog world!!
